Immigration has been a thing since human civilization began. Nowadays, many do this to find better opportunities going from a third-world country to a high-income country. Immigration did help stimulate economies, just like the concept of international trade. However, there should be laws when traveling from one country to another (they must have a valid passport, and they usually need a visa, especially for long visits). Without these laws, there would be no borders, and so there will be no nation. Before the presidency of Barack Obama, many Democrats supported strong border laws as they discouraged illegal immigration.
