Not surprisingly, all of them are in Eastern Europe or southern Slavic countries.

  • India will surpass China as the world's most populated political entity in 2022.
  • After 2028, China's population will begin to decline.
  • Asia will be home to five billion residents by 2034.
  • Africa's population will reach two billion people in 2039.
  • Nigeria will surpass the United States in population in 2049.
